I put off getting an air fryer for a long time. I thought I didn’t need another kitchen gadget. I finally decided to buy one a few months ago. I should have bought one much sooner!
I’ve found that an air fryer is the best appliance I’ve purchased to help keep me healthy. There are so many awesome healthy vegan recipes you can make with an air fryer. Some of my favorites are air fried tofu (recipe below), air fried potatoes with onions, air fried brussels sprouts, air fried broccoli, and air fried chick peas.
Air Fried Tofu
Press tofu for at least 30 minutes.
Dry with a paper towel.
Dice about 1/2 to 3/4″ squares.
Put into a bowl, add a little starch such as potato or corn and stir to coat.
Pre-heat air fryer to 390 degrees for a few minutes.
Spray air fryer basket with a little oil.
Put tofu in basket and spray with a little oil.
Cook about 16 to 18 minutes shaking half way.
The air fried tofu is great in stir fry, burritos, or just serve it up with some fried brussels sprouts or broccoli.
