If you don’t have a set of adjustable dumbbells, I highly recommend that you get some. I really like the adjustable dumbbells so that I can change the amount of weight easily and continue to push myself harder everyday. Dumbbells are great because they don’t cost very much and don’t take up much room. They are also very easy to learn to use and you don’t need a bench for many exercises. However, if you can also fit a bench in your home gym, you can do even more exercises with dumbbells. Here are some of my favorite dumbbell exercises:
Shoulder Presses
Front Raises
Side Raises
Curls
Hammer Curls
Reverse Curls
Overhead Triceps Extensions
Skull Crushers
Bent-over Rows
Chest Flyes
Squats
Deadlifts
Lunges
As you can see, dumbbells are very versatile and allow you to do a lot of different exercises.
