Hey FitVegan.Life community!
It’s been a while — I know. Life has a way of pulling you in a hundred directions, and somewhere along the way the blog took a back seat. But I’m back, I’m fired up, and I have a lot to share with you.
First, let me give you a quick update on where things stand. I’ve now been vegan for over six years. Six years of plant-powered living, and I can honestly tell you it keeps getting better. My commitment to veganism — for my health, for the animals, and for the planet — has never been stronger.
On the fitness side, I’ve been consistently training throughout the years and I’m currently in the best shape of my life. Seriously. For the past few years I’ve been a member at VASA Fitness, and I absolutely love it. Their Studio Red and Studio Lift classes have been a game changer for me. If you haven’t tried them and you have a VASA near you, I can’t recommend them enough. Studio Red gets my heart pumping and calories burning, while Studio Lift has been key to building and maintaining muscle. Between the two, I’ve found the perfect balance of cardio and strength training.
So what can you expect from the blog going forward? I’ll be posting regularly on three things that matter most to me:
- 🌿 Fitness — workouts, class reviews, training tips, and how to build a strong, lean body on a plant-based diet
- 💚 Health — vegan nutrition, recipes, meal prep, and everything you need to fuel your body right
- 🐾 Animal Compassion — because fitness and health are only part of the story. The “why” behind living vegan matters, and I’ll keep shining a light on it
My goal has always been simple: if I can motivate even one person to get healthier, get stronger, and live a more compassionate life, then this whole thing is worth it. After six-plus years of walking this path, I genuinely believe a fit vegan life is one of the best things you can do for yourself and for the world around you.
I want to help you get in the best shape of your life too. Stick around — the best content from FitVegan.Life is ahead of us.
Talk soon, David FitVegan.Life
